UiPath integrates Microsoft Outlook in UiPath Studio. This means there are activities integrated that help you with the email automation when you are using the Outlook application.

The package includes the following email activities for Outlook:

Mark a given email (or a list of email messages) as read or unread.

Forward an email (or a list of email messages) with a protected and original email body.

Mark an email (or a list of email messages) as a task and select a due date.

Quickly add a category to an email (or a list of email messages). If the needed category does not exist, the activity will create it with a specified category color.

Retrieve an email with its UID. Use it when you need to get the UID of an email stored in the Orchestrator queue or database.

This activity package allows easy integration with Outlook calendar events by allowing Outlook Calendar event creation and management. These activities work on Outlook Meetings and Appointments.

Workflow will check whether specified folder is exists in outlook folders, if folder already exists workflow will do nothing and if folder doesn't exist it will create the folder with the name specified by user in argument (in_NewFolder).

This component creates an outlook mail folder where we need to pass the folder name which need to be created as argument.

A lot of companies have shared mailboxes to follow up mails (like support teams, helpdesks,…). This component allows you to send mails directly from these mailboxes. Adding attachments in a dynamic way is very handy for mail merge applications and once the mail is send it can be automatically be placed in a folder of your choice to keep track of the mails send by the robot.Chasing mails is a nice activity to follow up mails that should be replied within a certain time period.

Email details can be retrieved easily using ‘Get Outlook mail message’ activity within UiPath, however, using the filter property requires multiple syntaxes to be used to filter contents from an email.We have created an email activity for UiPath where all the required options such as Body, Email Received Date, Subject etc. would be available within Filter section which can be easily used to filter emails along with the customized filter option. This package is a custom activity for UiPath to send an Outlook meeting appointment or to add recipients to an existing meeting appointment (based on a matching Subject).&nbsp;If a new Outlook meeting appointment is required, set NoSearchForExisting to FALSE.
