A Bill of Lading is equivalent to a shipment receipt. Within the Shipping industry, it holds the status of a legal document issued by a carrier to acknowledge the receipt of a cargo shipment from a shipper. This document includes information on the type and quantity of transported goods, route specifics, means of transportation, and more.
The presented model identifies essential fields and extracts pertinent information from this document type. The model accommodates various document variations, including Delivery Notes and Airwaybills, offering a versatile solution for diverse scenarios.
The Bills of Lading accelerator serves both as a foundation for additional training and as an adaptable resource tailored to suit the unique requirements of specific business processes.
The Document Understanding Solution Accelerators come equipped with Specialized AI models tailored to particular document types. If a business wishes to refine these models to resonate more closely with a particular document variant in their unique operational context, the models can be further trained. With the groundwork firmly in place, the implementation time can be reduced by weeks.
The use of UiPath Document Understanding Models utilizes UiPath AI Units.
