Microsoft Teams serves as a central hub for workplace collaboration. It streamlines conversations, enhances teamwork, facilitates video conferencing and simplifies document sharing, all aimed at boosting employee productivity.

How It Works

To enable outbound automation between UiPath and Microsoft Teams, utilize the UiPath Connector for Microsoft Teams. This connector establishes a secure, authenticated connection to facilitate automation processes.

Before diving into your first project, ensure you follow the steps outlined in the Authentication Guide from the connector documentation. This will set the stage for a successful integration and efficient automation workflow.

Activities

• Create Channel - Creates a new channel in a team.
• Invite Channel Member - Invites a member to the channel by email.
• List All Channels - Retrieves the list of channels in a team.
• Send Individual Chat Message - Creates a chat between two members using user email.
• Reply to Channel Message - Replies to a message in a team channel, with an option to attach one file or a SharePoint URL.
• Send Channel Message - Sends a message in one of your team's channels with an option to attach one file or a SharePoint URL.
• Send Group Chat Message - Sends a message in one of your chats with an option to attach one file or a SharePoint URL.
• Create Online Teams Meeting - Create an online Teams meeting.
• Delete Record - Deletes a record in Microsoft Teams.
• Get Record - Retrieves a record in Microsoft Teams.
• Insert Record - Inserts a record in Microsoft Teams.
• List All Records - Lists all the records of an object in Microsoft Teams.
• Update Record - Updates a record in Microsoft Teams.
• Get Channel By Name - Retrieves the channel in a team based on the channel name.
• Get Individual Chat - Retrieve the individual chat ID for use in a List All Chat Messages activity.
• Get Team by Name - Retrieves a team based on its name.
• Invite User to Team - Add a guest Microsoft account user or your organization's Azure AD user to the team.
• List All Channel Messages - Retrieves the list of messages in a channel.
• List All Chat Messages - Retrieves the list of messages in a specified chat.
• List All Team Members - Retrieves the list of members in a team.
