Overview
Creation of the PIW is a key but time consuming task in the migration to Opera Cloud. Using robotic process automation, the team at RobosizeME, an Oracle Cloud Build partner focused exclusively on the hospitality industry, has taken the opportunity to assist hotels with filling-out the PIW in a few simple steps:
· The automation logs into the client’s Opera v5 (this can be single instances or multi-property or even hundreds or thousands of single instance v5s).
· It automatically deploys a special custom made PIW export and generates it (BOF or EXP license may be required).
· It ensures all vital configuration data from the export is imported into the client’s PIW.
· The PIW is saved to a shared drive or emailed directly to Oracle Consulting.
The automation uses UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
