Overview

Overview

The Copy text from an image automation allows you to quickly extract text from your screen and copy it to your clipboard. It asks you to snip an area of your screen, runs the Tesseract OCR on that snipped area, and copies the extracted text to your clipboard. The automation is great for extracting text from presentations, images, or scanned documents.

Beginning with version 2.2.0, we have migrated this automation to Windows (.Net 5.0 or higher) project.
If you need the Windows-Legacy project version, please download version 2.1.0.
