Summary

Summary

The Email Management Agent is designed to organize Outlook inboxes by categorizing and moving emails based on their content, urgency, and relevance.

Overview

Overview

The Email Management Agent addresses the common problem of cluttered and disorganized email inboxes, which can lead to inefficiency and missed important communications. With the increasing volume of emails received daily, users often struggle to prioritize and manage their inbox effectively. This agent provides a solution by automating the categorization of emails, ensuring that important messages are easily accessible while less critical ones are appropriately organized.

The agent works by analyzing the content, sender, urgency, and relevance of each email. It categorizes emails into predefined folders such as "High Priority," "Meetings," "Finance," "Project X," "Social," "Customer Support," "Notifications," or "Inbox." By leveraging contextual indicators like subject lines, attachments, and sender information, the agent ensures accurate classification. For example, emails with "URGENT" in the subject line are moved to "High Priority," while newsletters are directed to "Social." This systematic approach helps users maintain a clean and efficient inbox.

To achieve its functionality, the agent utilizes two key tools: a tool to read the latest email and a tool to move emails to a designated folder. These tools work in tandem to automate the email management process, reducing manual effort and saving time for users. The agent also includes a testing mode, allowing for evaluation and refinement of its categorization logic without affecting the actual inbox.
