Overview

Smartbridge has created a custom activity package to simplify automating processes that use Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP by replacing UI operations with background API calls to the AIS Server.​ With this package, automations are easier to develop by having dedicated activities for many operations in JD Edwards and faster to execute as these activities are using the JDE API to communicate with the ERP.

The package includes the following: ​
  • JD Edwards Application Scope: Handles the authentication to JD Edwards and passes the token to the sub-sequent activities.
  • Simple Table Query: Execute simple queries over EnterpriseOne tables.
  • Execute A Form: Request to execute an EnterpriseOne form. Optionally, perform actions on the form and receive data from the form in the response.​
  • Add Text Attachment: Add a text attachment for the given media object key.
  • Update Text Attachment: Update the text of a text media object for a given structure, key, and sequence. If sequence is not provided, the first text media object will be updated.
