PPT Presentation Export

This activity automates PowerPoint tasks: converts to 26 formats, exports slides as images (.jpg, .png, .tif, .bmp), and creates videos (.mp4,.wmv) with customizable settings, expanding compatibility.

Instead of going through an UiAutomation (or any other approach like writing your own Invoke Code) to Save the presentation as any other available format, this activity can be leveraged to do the same with many inbuilt features. You have the options to convert an input file to other PPT formats, export slides as images or export file as video with added settings.

Inbuilt features include all the file type conversions from a default presentation to the provided / compatible formats (please refer MSDN for Format compatibility), which are not included in the UI dropdown in the application, rather expand its purview to the older formats which can be leveraged into your automation processes.

Note : Keep in mind that the availability of some formats may vary depending on the version of Microsoft Office you are using and the Windows OS you are on (for example: saving .pptx or .pptm is not supported to be converted to HTML).

There are 3 activities included in this package:

1. Convert Presentation Format – Helps in conversion of input valid pptx files to 26 other formats with settings and features.

2. Export PPT As Images – Helps export a slide range or all slides to 4 different image formats (.jpg, .png, .tif, .bmp).

3. Export PPT As Video – Helps export a presentation to video with specified resolution, frame rate, compression quality and slide duration to either .mp4 or .wmv.
