Overview
The activities from this package deliver information about SAP GUI for Windows installation. It is very important to know the details about the execution environment. Using this you can check whether the expected conditions are fulfilled.
E.g. for an attended bot which needs access to a SAP system.
It is possible that the user has disabled the SAP GUI Scripting in the options dialog of the SAP Logon. In this case, the bot will not run correctly. With the output property IsScriptingInstalledAndEnabled of the activity SAP GUI Scripting Info you can easily check it.
SAP GUI Installation Info
This activity checks if SAP GUI for Windows is installed. Also it delivers the installation directory, version and patch-level of SAP GUI for Windows. It contains only output fields:
- IsInstalled: Marked as True if SAP GUI for Windows is installed, otherwise it will be displayed as False.
- InstallationDetails: Structure which contains the InstallationDirectory, Version and PatchLevel of the SAP GUI for Windows.
- ErrorReturn: In case of error a it displayed a relevant message.
SAP GUI Configuration Info
This activity provides information about SAP GUI configuration. It contains only output fields:
- ConfigurationDetails: Structure which contains information about StartSaplogon and DetacheMode.
- ErrorReturn: In case of error a it displayed a relevant message.
SAP GUI Scripting Info
This activity provides information about SAP GUI Scripting customizing. It contains only output fields:
- IsScriptingInstalledAndEnabled: Marked as True if the user scripting is installed and enabled, otherwise it will be displayed as False.
- ScriptingDetails: Structure which contains information from IsScriptingInstalled, IsScriptingEnabled, WarnOnAttach, WarnOnConnection and ShowNativeWindowsDialogs.
- ErrorReturn: In case of error a it displayed a relevant message.
SAP GUI Theming Info
This activity delivers information about the selected theme of the SAP GUI for Windows. It contains only output fields:
- SelectedTheme: Number of the selected theme.
- SelectedThemeName: Name of the selected theme.
- ErrorReturn: In case of error a it displayed a relevant message.
SAP GUI Visualization Info
This activity delivers information about the user individual SAP GUI visualization settings. It contains only output fields:
- VisualizationDetails: Structure which contains information about KeysWithinDropdownList, SortKeysWithinDropdownList, ShowOKCodeField and ShowAdditionalTitleInfo.
- ErrorReturn: In case of error a it displayed a relevant message.
SAP GUI Logon Options Info
This activity delivers information about the user individual SAP GUI logon option settings. It contains only output fields:
- LogonOptionsDetails: Structure which contains information about Language and UseSAPLogonLanguageAsDefault.

This activity delivers information about GuiXT installation. It contains only output fields:
