This automation sets up your out-of-office email reply, updates your event responses, and blocks your calendar in Outlook.

Overview

Overview

The Set up an out-of-office message automation allows you to:

  • quickly review your events during your out of office period.
  • update responses for those events.
  • create a calendar block. 
  • set up your automated email response.

 

It asks you for your out-of-office start and end date/time, pulls the events for that period, asks you to update the event responses, creates the calendar block, and sets up your email response. 

The automation is great for reviewing upcoming meetings, retaining select meetings, and ensuring you’ve set up out-of-office calendar blocks and email responses.

This automation required Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Outlook desktop application to function properly.

Beginning with version 2.2.0, we have migrated this automation to Windows (.Net 5.0 or higher) project.

If you need the Windows-Legacy project version, please download version 2.1.0.
