Skan’s Process Discovery & Intelligence Platform uses computer vision to observe how work and tasks are executed to deliver automated process discovery and insights for end-to-end operational optimization, including automation and workforce optimization related opportunities. To collect data, Skan leverages its Virtual Process Agent (VPA), a desktop observer tool that passively captures user desktop interactions. It then creates process maps and reports that show how tasks and processes are conducted at a granular level, which provides a data-driven case for digital transformation, process improvement, resourcing changes, and automation.
In addition, Skan can also generate automation scripts in the form of a PDD or scripts that can be directly utilized by RPA vendors such as UiPath. These scripts can be imported into UiPath Studio in order to shorten production time, speed up time-to-value, and automate business processes.
