The Credentials Activities Pack encompasses a set of functionalities designed to seamlessly interact with the Windows Credential Manager. It facilitates the management of credentials associated with specific Microsoft authentication protocols, including but not limited to NTLM, Kerberos, Negotiate, Schannel, and Passport.
Activities in the Credentials Activities Pack
Robots can also use these activities to retrieve credentials or simply prompt a human user to introduce his credentials, for later usage.
The activities included in this package are:
- Add Credential - This activity facilitates the storage of specified credentials within the Windows Credential Manager. It offers customizable persistence options and provides a boolean outcome, indicating the success or failure of the operation.
- Delete Credential - Streamlining the removal process, this activity deletes credentials associated with a specified target from the Windows Credential Manager. The boolean result serves as a clear indicator of the operation's success.
- Get Secure Credential - This activity fetches credentials associated with a designated target from the Windows Credential Manager. The result includes a secure string (password) and a string (username).
- Request Credential - Enhancing user interaction, this activity displays a dialog box featuring a customized message and title. This prompts users to input their credentials, storing the resulting username and password as string variables. These variables can subsequently be utilized for seamless login into other applications.
