This solution is used to automate the execution of jobs in Talend application. Steps involved are:

*   Login to Talend application
*   Bot will navigate to the job that needs to be executed
*   Bot will execute the job.

Solution to automate Talend job execution tasks

The process can be used in the following scenarios:

1.  When the bot is attended and the user wants to type the data and convert it into speech.
2.  The input file should be text file if the user wants to select the specified file.

The steps involved are:

1.  Select an option to choose the way text needs to be entered.
2.  On the basis of selection, either enter the text that needs to converted or select the file which needs to be converted into voice.
3.  This solution will convert the text selected to voice.

We can execute the process after a regular interval for effective solution.

Automates the process of reading a file and converting it into speech

This custom activity takes the following input:

1.   Number – Data Type needs to be decimal, as it is the currency number which needs to be converted to words (eg. 23.45)

2.   Currency Words – Data Type is string, as it is currency Symbol (eg. “$” or “USD”)

This activity will give the output in string: eg. “Twenty Three and Forty Five $ Only”

This activity is used to search a word in an input string which can be derived after reading a PDF or any other document and then extract a certain number of words from that string.

  

This activity has the following inputs:

1.  Text from which words need to be extracted
2.  Search Text – Word to be searched
3.  Count of words – Number of words to be extracted
4.  Occurrence of searched text – To specify “x” number of words are to be extracted after “nth” occurrence of the searched word
5.  Search Text Up to – Words up to which text needs to be extracted. Either count of words or search text up to needs to be mentioned

  

Output is the extracted text in string format.

**How to use:**

*   Input argument: Source datatable of type DataTable
*   Input argument: CSS of type string
*   Output argument: HTML of type string
*   The output will be an HTML table.
*   An example of this listing's applicability can be sending tables in an email's body.

This activity is capable of exporting DataTables into HTML format

This activity takes the following user inputs:

1\. Salary slip template in Excel format.

2\. One input Excel for each month with salary component.

3\. Config file which includes the folder path.

Output – Payslip for current month in Excel and PDF format.

This is used to read input data from Excel for current month, fill that data in an Excel template and convert all Excel payslips in PDF format.

Xebia proposed Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as a solution to automate the process and suggested UiPath RPA tool.

Xebia RPA Team extended/created the existing functionality of UiPath by creating this reusable workflow.

  

This activity requires the following user inputs:

**Pre-conditions:**

i. OLEDB driver should be installed on the machine.

ii. UiPath Database package should be installed in UiPath Studio.

**Steps:**

1\. System reads the Config File and reads all the mandatory parameters like Sheet Name, Header\_Present, File Path and Range and Query.

2\. The BOT will read the data source file using OLEDB connector.

3\. With the help of config File BOT we can determine whether the Header will be there or not.

4\. A connection string will be established and based on that database the connection is configured.

5\. In “Execute Query” the user can write query and the result will be saved in a DataTable.

  

Output – The DataTable generated from the Query using OLEDB Connection.

When we are working on huge data sources in .xlsx format, then Select Queries becomes inefficient on DataTables

This activity requires the following user inputs:

1.  **Path** – The path where screenshots needs to be copied.
2.  **Filename** – Name of the screenshot. Name should be mentioned without file extension.
3.  **Height** – Height (Pixels) of the screen.
4.  **Width** - Width (Pixels) of the screen.

Screenshots will get saved on the path mentioned in the activity.

Take a screenshot in JPG format by mentioning the width and height of the screen resolution.

This solution is used to manage the processing of jobs in Airflow application. Steps involved are -

1.  Login to Airflow application.
2.  The bot will check if there is any failed tasks with the respective DAG.
3.  If there is any failed task then the bot will go to the graph view and fetch the name of the failed task.
4.  The bot will go to error view and print the error in a log file.
5.  The bot will clear the running instances of the failed task.
6.  The bot will run the failed task again.
