This package contains a single Generate Password activity. Its purpose is to generate a random String and also an encrypted SecureString. 

  

Password is generated using RandomNumberGenerator and RNGCryptoServiceProvider .NET classes for creating cryptographically strong random values.

This snippet will be useful when we are trying to use UserID in our process and we need to check whether it is expired or not.

In some cases the BOTID, application login UserID or any other UserID related to the same domain might expire and in that case the process will fail.

Instead of running with this error, we can check those UserID's password expiry days and send a notification mail to the appropriate group/user to update the password. When the UserID is set with the option for the password to not expire, then this snippet is not required.

Note: For this snippet we need Windows admin access, since the process checks the data from the Active Directory System.

The snippet includes one XAML file - **Return AuthToken.** It takes as input the username, password and URL end point. It returns the output as tokens which can be used further in programs where API's are authenticated by using tokens. Whenever new tokens are required this XAML can be called.

  

The snippet is designed without hard coding and the code is dynamic, it requires only input parameters so that it can run without any issues.

  

The above design of XAML code was done to meet the requirements where different processes need to use tokens for authorization of API example for CRM API's.

  

This will achieve the objective of meeting security approvals which may be required in different projects/clients.

It returns authorized tokens using HTTP request which can be used to authenticate CRM API's. It takes as input the username, password and CRM API URL.

*   **On\_PremADAccount\_Retriever** - Retrieves the user account information from on-premise Active Directory. User information includes State of User Account (enabled/ disabled), User Principal name, email, home directory path, script path, phone number, display name. Code can be modified to pull any additional information. Input arguments are employee/ user ID.
*   **OnPrem\_AD\_User\_Termination** - Terminates the user in On-Premise Active Directory by disabling the account, removing the user's membership in AD groups and moving the user account to disabled user’s organizational unit. Input arguments are employee / user ID, disabled users OU path.
