Skan’s Process Discovery & Intelligence Platform uses computer vision to observe how work and tasks are executed to deliver automated process discovery and insights for end-to-end operational optimization, including automation and workforce optimization related opportunities. To collect data, Skan leverages its Virtual Process Agent (VPA), a desktop observer tool that passively captures user desktop interactions. It then creates process maps and reports that show how tasks and processes are conducted at a granular level, which provides a data-driven case for digital transformation, process improvement, resourcing changes, and automation.
These reporting analytics can be leveraged to identify automation opportunities, which can be used by RPA developers in conjunction with UiPath's Studio, to automate steps in the process.
