Two-Factor Authentication Activities

Guys, you need to install Bouncy Castle portable 1.9.0 of the Nuget feed in order to fix the Bouncy Castle error in Windows projects!

Getting below error in production which is causing severe downtime. Could not load file or assembly 'BouncyCastle.Crypto, Version=1.9.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. The system cannot find the file specified.

Strangely it is happening only in one of the automations and other automations are working fine for the same activity in the same machine. Could you please assist in fixing this urgently?

I am getting an error with latest version.. UiPath studio project is Windows .

I couldn't find the secret key for microsoft auth. Where can we take this from app?

Hi Mihai Pricochi, I have tried every version of this available but it still is not showing up in the packages. I have created a new package folder and have directed UiPath Studio to look inside of it for packages but still nothing. I have 21.10 UiPath Studio. I have .NET Version 4.8 and I am running Windows 10. Please help me understand. I appreciate your time and consideration.

I am attempting to install this in Studio 22.10 but it is not even recognizing there is a package there. I have restarted my computer and created a new package source and put the package in there but still nothing. I downloaded the most recent version of the package 2.0.1 which is made for version .NET 6 and up but still nothing. Anything you can do to help I would super appreciate it!

Thanks for sharing the actvity , works perfectly fine for us with MS-authentication.

If you can share more details about , what is there in the backgound that gets trigered ? Is it consuming any third party API to get token or Microsoft API are consumed ? Your response will help us to finalize the solution.

RPA - UiPath

Problem statement – Manage MFA to login to client based applications. (Client application like workday and SharePoint using Client AD authentication to authenticate)

Solution tried and working – We have tried to explore UiPath package and found one – UiPathTeam.TwoStepAuthentication.Activities which is developed by UiPath Team ,which helps to receive MFA-token. There are some setting that needs to be done with MS-authenticator to generate Secret key which is input for the activity.

Questions - 

1. Is this Package develop and support by UiPath Team (officially) ? 

2. Also we just want to know how much is safe for client data and envioroment ?

3. What is the actual mecnitiom behind the package ?

I've installed the package and BouncyCastle.Portable (Is the only that appears) and migrate the project from Legacy to Windows. Now, I have and error when I try to execute the program:

Hi, I downloaded the library and uploaded it to the orchestrator, then the library doesn't show up in uipath studio to use it. I have tried to carry out this same operation from the local route and the same thing happens. do you know why it doesn't show it?

Hello, is there any plan to allow for secureString input for the secret Key? Would increase the security of the tool

Is there any plan to create this activity in .NET 6? We try to avoid using the Windows - legacy version since this will be out of support.
