The UiPath GenAI Activities Connector and its accompanying activities offer integration with UiPath-managed large language models (LLMs) from various third-party sources. By leveraging UiPath AI Services, including the AI Trust Layer, users gain access to popular LLMs without managing individual subscriptions. This solution provides quality-optimized, prompt-based activities with straightforward inputs and outputs, available directly within Studio Web, Studio Desktop and Apps.

How It Works

UiPath GenAI Activities include a set of tools that directly interact with various internal UiPath services to normalize and transform requests for model providers. Establishing a connection does not require a third-party service subscription. However, users must create and maintain the connection for use in Studio, Studio Web and Apps.

Understanding AI Units Consumption

UiPath GenAI Activities require AI units based on token consumption. For detailed information on AI units, consult the AI Center user guide. Each activity execution uses one AI Unit, encompassing both design time and runtime executions.

Activities

• Content Generation - Generates a chat response for the provided request using chat completion models.
• Summarize Text - Summarizes text using a suitable Large Language Model (LLM).
• PII Filtering - Scans the input text, identifies any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Protected Health Information (PHI), and replaces such data with a redaction marker.
• Language Detection - Allows you to detect the language of a given text. It analyzes the input text and determines the language it's written in.
• Rewrite - Allows you to submit text that you wish to be rewritten according to new style guidelines.
• Generate Email - Enables you to have a draft of an email composed meeting a specific style.
• Translate - Takes input text and a target language and outputs the translated text in the specified language.
