Overview
Advanced Business Application Programming language, or ABAP in short form, is the programming language in SAP environments. It offers powerful possibilities with its commands to handle and manipulate data on the SAP ERPbackend system. It is only available in SAP application server backend systems. You can’t use ABAP outside an SAP
system.
This ABAPRunner activity offers the possibility to use ABAP code from UiPath Studio. You can code your ABAP reports local and ABAPRunner transfers it to an SAP backend system and executes it. Therefor ABAPRunner uses the Remote Enabled Function Module (RFM) RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN, which is available on any SAP system.
Only one activity is available: ABAP Install and Run. This activity installs an ABAP report in the backend systems, executes and deletes it after execution.
