Overview
Overview
This custom activity package contains a total of 4 activities for converting DataTable variables:
- convert a JSON array to a DataTable.
- convert a DataTable to a JSON string.
- convert a XML file to a DataTable.
- convert a DataTable to a XML file.
The first activity (DataTable from JSON) takes a JSON Array ( [ “xxx”:”xxx”, “xxx”:”xxx”, “xxx”:”xxx” ] ) as an input and the output is a DataTable variable.
The second activity (DataTable to JSON) takes a DataTable variable as an input and it outputs a JSON string.
The DataTable from XML activity input is a XML file path and the output is a DataTable variable.
The DataTable to XML activity takes a DataTable variable, the name of the file to be converted and the path where the XML will be saved. The output is a XML file located on the path provided (by default, it’s the project folder).
Use Cases:
- Output a DataTable from a JSON array string.
- Output a XML file from a DataTable variable.
- Output a DataTable variable from a XML file located on the disk.
