I am not able to access the resources

Select Range activity documentation has wrong properties described, they wore copied from the previous activity.Could you please insert some examples of how can we select ranges? I've tried "A1:A50;H1:H50" in order to select the all in use cells from A column and H column, without success. I'm also confused on how "All", "EntireColumn" and "EntireRow" options in the same activity works, whenever I try, it only selects the range specified, when I put just the letter, it throws an exception.

Hello Bharat, I just used the Clear Content and it worked as I needed. 1) Dragged the Excel Extension Scope within the Excel Application Scope activity's "Do" section2) Supplied the workbook path and file name in both the Excel App and Excel Extension3) Then, used both the excel activity (Write Range) and the extension activity (Clear Content) within the Excel Extension Scope's "Do" section.Just want to make sure I'm using the tools correctly.MaryB, thanks for the PDF

Thanks Bharat, separating the two scopes sounds like a better approach. I have another question regarding the ClearContent. A course lesson was showing me how Insert an Excel Table that could be used with the UIPath Excel Sort Table activity. When I ran a test the ClearContent erased the inserted Table, even with the options unchecked.Is there a way to use the ClearContent where it does not delete the inserted table?MaryB

I am getting an excel error message when I try to 'refresh all' pivot tables. I am using the 'refresh all' activity inside of the excel extension scope. The error message being thrown by excel says "We couldnt get the data from ___ in the workbook ______ please open this workbook". I used a run process to open the workbook but it's saying it isn't open. Is it possible to do a refresh all inside of the excel extension scope?

Can i get the hidden rows from this package? or check if a particular row is hidden or not.

as it is while executing the rename activity, I am unable to handle that. could you please help me to avoid the popup?

Do you have any additional documentation about working with Sessions? We are using it within a For Each and we start in excel, go perform a task, then pick the session back up. However, it only works properly on the first iteration. The second loop is failing. I am wondering if we are not using these sessions properly.

I am getting very similar because I am using ExcelApplicationScope to Write Range and then ExcelExtensionScope and then asks to save the excelsheet.

Any do and don't and how to have them both working at the same time.

Is anyone going to answer any of these questions?

 - As someone who has not worked with excel extensively in the past I appreciate the activities in this package and the responsiveness to my questions.


Very useful component. Using this component, we can reduce the chance of using send hot key which causes trouble sometimes and using Macro/VBA.
