Hello, We are using your activity in one of our aitomation. HOwever, after converting the automation to windows based with UiPath 2022.10.4, the dependency is not compatible anymore. Do you have a compatible version?

My question is regarding the WaterMark pdf activity. How can I change the position of the watermark text? Currently, the text is getting printed in the middle of pdf. I want to print it on top of pdf.

Hello Lavina,

Thank you so much for the quick answer!!

We are not yet able to try the new package, but I am sure it will change the color correctly, thanks for that.

Regarding to the Watermark itself, do you know if it is posible to print it to the front? We are getting it in the middle of the content. In front of the tables & text but behind of the graphics.

Kind regards,

Mauricio

Hi Mauricio,

Thank you for the idea, we'll investigate if this is possible with PDFSharp. We'll update the component page if this is the case.

Best regards,

Lavinia

Hello Mihai,

Thank you so much for the activities!

I am having an issue with the Color, if I try as you wrote in the picture, with Color.FromArgb(50, 255, 50, 0), I get the error System.Drawing.Color can not be converted in PdfSharp.Drawing.XColor, and If i try with PdfSharp.Drawing.XColor.FromArgb(50, 255, 50, 0) I dont get any error, but the color doesn't change. So at the end, the box is asking me for a XColor parameter.

What do you recomend?

Thank you so much!

Mauricio

Hi Mauricio!

Thank you for reporting this. Indeed, we found out that there is a small mistake in the screenshot, the correct syntax is the one that you tried:

PdfSharp.Drawing.XColor.FromArgb(50, 255, 50, 0)

We updated the package with the bug fix and upgraded PDFSharp to a stable version. The new package version will be available for download soon (please check later today or tomorrow).

Hi Mihai, I am able to successfully make the Merge PDF activity work on one of my modules, but in another module in the same project, I am getting this error: 'Merge PDF Files: Non-negative number required / Parameter name: value' - any thoughts? It has been working flawlessly otherwise. - thanks Mihai, we will look into it further on our end. -S

Hi Sheri, Some PDF files might have a non-standard structure, the error seems to be coming when PDFSharp tries to figure out the structure of the document, to then recreate, but it fails to do so properly.

During installation, I got an error for pdfsharp dependencies, after looking around, I had some workaround to include it in my project, is there anyway to package that dependencies as a whole for convenience?

No. We need to have the dependencies according to nuget.

Please make sure you have nuget v3 (https://api.nuget.org/v3/index.json) set as a package source in Package Manager, that way pdfsharp (and other dependencies outside of UiPath) will be downloaded automatically
