The solution consists of two robots that perform different activities relating to procurement using the GSA Advantage site.
Overview
Overview
The first part of the workflow consists of pulling a number of results from the site based on the product categories input provided from a user in a spreadsheet. This is meant to provide representative sample product data which can be used for the next part of the process.
The second part of the workflow looks up each product identified in the previous step, and provides detailed information on the product including the average cost per unit from GSA Advantage. This is meant to show UiPath’s capability to not only extract but analyze data, performing calculations based on rules and conditions defined within the workflow.

The two bots used in this solution perform two high level activities common in both procurement and several other general tasks: pulling data from a source based on search criteria and conditions (in this case categories, keywords, and number of results to return), and populating associated information and performing calculations for a data set. These are highly manual, repetitive tasks that can require a high level of effort as the data set grows, and are highly scalable both in terms of volume and introducing additional conditions or calculations.
