In essence, this activity uses a **SOQL query** to:

*   **extract** contact information from contacts in Salesforce.
*   **populate** details from an input file as new contacts. 

By decreasing human labor and errors, UiPath makes it easier to **add contacts** to **Salesforce**.

This activity facilitates the upload of large numbers of contacts from input files to Salesforce as well as the retrieval of contacts from Salesforce using SOQL queries.
