The OpenAI V1 Compliant LLM connector allows the integration between UiPath and any generative AI model following the OpenAI V1 API standard. By utilizing standardized API endpoints and methods, this connector enables consistent interactions and automated workflows across various third-party LLM providers.

Before using the connector activities, establish a secure connection to your chosen OpenAI V1 compliant model instance. Step-by-step authentication instructions are provided in the [OpenAI V1 Compliant LLM authentication documentation](https://docs.uipath.com/integration-service/automation-cloud/latest/user-guide/uipath-openai-openaiv1compliant-authentication).

Once connected, you can leverage the [Generate Chat Completion activity](https://docs.uipath.com/activities/other/latest/integration-service/uipath-openai-openaiv1compliant-Generate-Chat-Completion) in UiPath Studio to automate text generation, chat responses, content summarization and related AI-driven workflows.

This connector can be used to connect to any LLM model if its API follows the OpenAI V1 standard.
