Hi,

It's great tool. Really appricitae your efforts in here.

I'm facing issue with Classic to Modern folder migration.

  1. Assets with Credentials typs are not migrating. Error - Password not specified. (But, I have the password already)
  2. Triggers giving error. Error - Failed to process entity. Request status: 400 / Response: {"message":"Parameter 'StartStrategy' is invalid.","errorCode":1009,"resourceIds":null}.

Could you please help me on this?

Regards,

Ashok

Hi Ashok,

We are going to need more details in order to be able to help.

What operation exactly are you using? Assets -> Create Credential and Triggers -> Create ? Or are you doing the end-to-end migration?

Where do you have the password specified? In the workbook or in the source Orchestrator?

What is the StartStrategy you specified for your triggers?

Since Marketplace has a limitation with respect to threads, don't hesitate to create a post on Forum if you need our support on this topic.

I downloaded the Japanese version of Orchestrator Manager, but it didn't work.

After adding the Activity Package, it started to work.

But unfortunately,

all of the files in the OrchestratorManager-master \ Workbooks \ JA folder

are broken or the file names are garbled.

Even if I executed the workflow, the file name could not be obtained and it failed.

I want you to provide the correct Japanese version.

Or provide the correct files in the OrchestratorManager-master \ Workbooks \ JA folder.

Hi Yuka,
We have a lot of users who use the Japanese version with no problems, the current version is correct and working for both EN and JA.
Are you sure you have (correctly) unzipped the project folder before opening the solution?
In case of more problems, please create a post on Forum, since Marketplace doesn't support threads.

Thank you!

Hi,

Is this compatible with Orchestrator on Automation Suite stand alone?

Andra Edda Dregan
Posted 3 years ago ago

Hi Arief,

Unfortunately, Orchestrator Manager is not yet compatible with Automation Suite deployments, but this is in the pipeline for future versions.

Thank you!

I recently downloaded version 2.2.5. I got it to run for our cloud instance, but the entity 'user' Does not exist. I would like to user this. How do I enable this?

Andra Edda Dregan

Hello Tristan,

Unfortunately, User operations are not available in Orchestrator Manager for Cloud deployments (except folder assignments, under the Folders menu). You can find extensive details about the existing features and their limitations in the Manual.

Hi, I'm a community edition user.

This tool is very usefull.

Orchestrator now allows you to tag and manage your assets and processes with labels. Do you have any plans to add this label as a control item for this tool in the future?

Andra Edda Dregan

Hello Hiroaki,

We have this in our pipeline, it will be added in a future version.

Thanks!

Hi,

we have problem creating AD Domain User,

OC version is  21.10 & we use latest Orchestrator Manager download on 2022.2.15,

it seems there is lack of several parameters to make API create domain user success.

Could this be improved, thanks!

Assign ParsedJSON: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value:

Hello Shota,

Unfortunately we would need more information to be able to go on.

Do you get to the point of choosing the folders from which you want to retrieve the assets?

Do you have any more detailed error logs to share?

Normally, the activity that you are mentioning (Assign ParsedJSON) is in a Try Catch which, in case of error, would throw a custom exception, and not the error you are mentioning.

Since we cannot create a thread for your question here, please go ahead and open one on the Forum, it will be easier to debug your issue there.

Thank you!

We are beginning to migrate to Modern folders and I need to create Credential assets per Machine.  Can this be achieved?  Previously, this was no issue as I could upload Per Robot values, but now, I need per Machine/user values.

Andra Edda Dregan

Hello Evan,

Orchestrator Manager does allow you to create Assets per User. In the last Orchestrator version, there is also a possibility to create Assets per User x Machine Template, but this is yet to be implemented in the OM - nevertheless, this does not seem to be your usecase.

Your usecase, Assets per user x machine, unfortunately does not exist out of the box, but the account-machine mappings can be leveraged, at tenant or folder level, to restrict the user-machine combinations for unattended execution to specific selections, to the point of reproducing the same cobinations used in classic, if needed (this feature is only available in Orchestrators >=21.10)
https://docs.uipath.com/orchestrator/v0/docs/configuring-account-machine-mappings

Account-machine mappings cannot, at the moment, be created via the Orchestrator Manager. You can, however, use the OM to assign the 'per user' asset values, and deploy the account-machine mappings manually to obtain the desired behavior.

Unfortunately UiPath Marketplace does not support threads, just questions and answers, so please start a thread on the Forum if you have more questions.

Thank you!

Hi. The following question was

I've solved the problem. It downloaded successfully.

The cause was that I was not the administrator for some folders.

Thank you for your help.

Hi, I have a problem with some operation execution in this Orchestrator Manager.

Entity: Package

Operation: Download

When I perform the above operation in Orchestrator Manager, the result cell says

「 Entity processing failed.

Request Status: 400 / Response: {"message": "The folder does not exist or the user does not have access to this folder. , "errorCode":1100, "resourceIds":null} 」

and will not succeed.

I have confirmed that the tenant access rights are Administrator rights.

Please help.

My environment is

- Uipath studio version 2021.4

- Uipath Orchestrator version 2019.10

Thank you very much.

Hello Uegaki,

Indeed, by default all folders as well as the tenant are selected for retrieving packages, so if you leave selected some folders that you do not have access to, you will get this error. Glad to hear that everything worked out for you!

You can find the exhaustive list of resources that are being supported, along with all the prerequisites and limitations, in the Orchestrator Manager Manual.

Feel free to post a thread on Forum if you have more questions.

Hi,

If you were using 2.2.2 or older, there was an issue with the OAuth authentication, so this might be the cause. I suggest you use the latest one. Bisides that, you can also try the non OAuth flow if the OAuth flow still does not work.

If the issue persists, could you elaborate on details on the forum, such as which version of On-Premises Orchestrator you are using?
