Solution
The PO Dispatch bot created by Thirdware helps remove human intervention and improve communication with the supplier swiftly.
The bot identifies the list of Purchase Orders from the repository that needs to be sent to the supplier and triggers the email dispatch via Outlook. This way it ensures a quick medium of communication with the supplier rather than the conventional method of dispatching hard copies of Purchase Orders.
Capture and Data Extraction
· Using UiPath tool to deliver Purchase Orders via email as an attachment.
· Extract Key Data – Supplier Information to dispatch the Purchase Order to the appropriate email address.
Products Used
UiPath Studio – The Data Extraction activities inside Studio help to identify the supplier for whom the PO needs to be dispatched. The Excel Integration activities inside Studio help to identify the right email address of the supplier captured from the PDF. The Email activities inside Studio are used to send the PO as an attachment to the supplier email address.
