PushBullet - Send Push Notifications and more

A set of activities for sending push notifications, push links, push files, and allows for a text message to be sent from the robot via an Android phone. Uses the PushBullet API.

This package contains the following activities:

• Notify all devices - Send a push notification to all devices related that account.
• Notify a specific device - Send a push notification to one device by specifying the device's nickname.
• Push link to all devices - Send a push notification with a useable hyperlink to all devices.
• Push link to a specific device - Send a push notification with a useable hyperlink to one device.
• Push file to all devices - Send a push notification containing a file to all devices.
• Push file to a specific device - Send a push notification containing a file to one device.
• Send SMS through device - Send a text message to another phone via a specific device.

These activities require at least a free account with PushBullet and a provided API key. A free account offers almost all of the features of a pro account with a couple limitations on the size of files and how many messages can be sent. Every device with the PushBullet application can have notifications sent to it and Android phones can be used to send text messages through them.

This service uses the PushBullet API and end to end encryption is only available for the SMS activity. PushBullet say information is sent using secure connections (https) but apart from the SMS activity, all data will be visible to PushBullet. Advice: do not use sensitive data with the other activities.

This activity will allow robots to send status updates or notify employees of any other relevant information (e.g. items that met business exceptions). Links and files can also be sent to other employees although as noted before, end to end encryption is only available for the SMS activity. Text messages can also be sent to clients and customers by the robot but from your phone.
