Overview
The SAP BAPI connector integrates SAP business object operations into UiPath automation workflows using the SAP Java Connector (version 3.0.18). It allows automations to execute Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), dynamically retrieving input and output parameters based on the selected BAPI.
No additional user installation is required for the SAP Java Connector. Detailed information about the connector is available on the SAP Java Connector documentation site.
Before automating processes, establish a secure connection with your SAP BAPI instance. Detailed authentication instructions are provided on the SAP BAPI authentication page.
Once connected, the SAP BAPI activities can be utilized within UiPath Studio to execute various BAPIs dynamically, enhancing business object management and data synchronization tasks.
Notes:
- The connector cannot be used if your SAP server is on-premises, as on-premises servers cannot communicate directly with your network from Automation Cloud™.
- RFC is currently not supported.
- This connector does not support events.
