This workflow downloads a file from Internet Explorer browser. Downloads must be configured to have a pop-up prompt on the bottom of the screen asking if the user wants to open or save the pending download file. Can you help in downloading the snipt

Save as only works when IEFrame is active. I connect to server by remote desktop, launch the process and close de windows without logout session, when I reconnect to the server the SaveAsDownloadGUI workflow is stopped. I can see in the screen the drop down menu is showed but the Save As option isn't selected. Instead of I don't close connection with server by remote destop and monitoring the process it works fine.Can I do some change in the workflow in order to working when it is in background?

English only - Relies on the English strings, won't work if IE is not set for English language interface.


lost of focus - It didn't help me but I found a little trick that helped me.
When the download bar appear I put a "find" activity and a "click" activity on the download bar.
After that my "click" activity on the down arrow (to select "save as") worked fine.
Without the find and click on the download bar, the element "down arrow" couldn't be found...

Hardware Events worked - I was having some issues with the GUI version, (typing the filename into the Save As window was not being accepted) but the Hardware Events worked for my process. Of course this involves sending keys so the application must be focused but that was fine for me.


Japanese localization - In the Japanese version of Windows, I changed the selector and changed "download has completed." to Japanese.


On the dot. The workflow with the hardware events works like a charm. BTW, what is the difference between the one without hardware events and the other one without? I have been looking at each and every activity and its properties. But couldn't notice the differences.
