I see that v1.2.4 is available but it is not listed in Versions. Are there any bug fixes in v1.2.4? What is different in this version?

What are the network ports that need to be opened from a firewall standpoint? We have UiPath within premisses and enterprise is heavily firewalled.

The same port/ports enable HTTPs outside our firewall.  These activities connect to the public APIs of ServiceNow. Typically these are 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS).

Good afternoon,
I'm trying to open the project in my community version of Uipath, however when downloading the file UiPath.ServiceNow.Activities.1.1.2-preview.nupkg

and open in my version the following error appears:

"Count not find a part of the path 'C:\user\RAFSOUZA\.nuget\packages\Uipath.servicenow.Activities\1.1.2-preview\lib\net45\project.json'

I'm trying to open the preview to open the project used in the tutorial to better understand the process, can you help me?

Sounds like you did not install the page correctly.  Have you tried the steps at https://docs.uipath.com/marketplace/docs/servicenow-setup#section-3-build-your-project?

Since this is a prerelease, can it be used in the projects that are going to go live soon. Also out uipath version is 2019.10.4 will it work for this version? or only for higher version than this?

Yes, many customers are using it now in production.  It should work for 2019.10.4 as well.

Paul,

Looking through the documentation link under Resources, it looks like we have to follow those setup instructions. Let me make sure we are following those instructions before trying again. I am hoping that will work.

Paul, Thanks for your response. I tried your recommendations especially with the URL. I had /sp at the end which I removed. Now I get a different error message stating my credentials are invalid. But I am using the same credentials to login to the online site as well.

Is it possible that service-now is blocking programmatic/api access?

Glad that helped.  That could possibly be so if your ServiceNow admin implemented as such regarding the account you are using.  The only other times I've ever had an invalid credentials is that  I had a typo (or trailing whitespace) in one of the four auth credentials.  You can see https://docs.uipath.com/marketplace/docs/servicenow-scope for more details.

Paul, although we have a service-now instance for our organization on service-now cloud, this package returns errors indicating the instance is not up and running.

"Did not get a valid response from ServiceNow instance, Please check if the instance is up and running correctly."

 What am I missing?

The main reason I see this with some customers is that

a) the instance is not awake

b) the URL is incorrect (it should just be the base URL like "https://dev12345.service-now.com/")

c) when they paste or try to use one of the credentials, there is a trailing space.

Without seeing your package however these are just best guesses.  You can either go through enterprise support or also the forums are a great way to share your package and get assistance.

Does this help?
