By leveraging workspaces and channels, Slack connects cross-functional and cross-departmental teams, enabling communication, file sharing and decision-making in a unified platform.

With the Slack activity package, you can efficiently manage your Slack environment. This includes creating and managing channels, inviting and removing users and handling messages and records. The package provides comprehensive capabilities to get, update, insert, list and delete records, giving you full control over your Slack workspace.

How It Works

To enable outbound automation between UiPath and Slack, utilize the UiPath Connector for Slack. This connector establishes a secure, authenticated connection to facilitate smooth integration.

Before starting your first project, make sure to follow the Authentication Guide provided in the connector documentation to ensure a smooth setup process.

Activities

• Create Channel - Creates a public or private channel in Slack.
• Invite Users to Channel - Invites Slack users to an existing channel that you're a member of.
• Remove User from Channel - Removes a specific Slack user from an existing channel that you're a member and administrator of.
• Send File to Channel - Uploads and sends a file to a channel in Slack.
• Send Message to Channel - Sends a message to a conversation for a public channel, a private channel, a private group or an instant message in Slack.
• Send Message to User - Sends a message to an individual user.
• Send Reply - Sends a reply to a chat.
• Send Button Response - Respond to a button click event in Slack.
• Create User Group - Creates a user group in Slack.
• Get User - Get the information of an user in the workspace by providing the email address.
• List All User Groups - Lists all user groups in the connected workspace.
• List All Users - Lists all users in the connected workspace.
• Set Channel Topic - Sets the topic of a channel that is visible on the channel header.
• Join Channel - Join a public channel as the bot user or as the current authenticated user.
• Archive Channel - Archive an existing channel for everyone.
