Slack is a **team messaging platform** that has been designed to enhance communication within a workspace.

  

Before automating processes, it is essential to **establish a connection with your Slack instance**. To do this, step-by-step instructions are available on the .

  

You can use the connection to enable the  in  that allow you to execute create, read, update, and delete operations on your Slack objects, as well as **build automations for a variety of use cases**, such as sending messages in a channel or MPIM group as a Bot or User, sending notifications/announcements to public channels as a Bot, creating user groups for multiple channels, **inviting users to a channel**, uploading media files as Slack messages in a channel, and more.

  

You can also use the connector to **retrieve the list of custom emojis of the connected workspace**, read the reactions of people on a message for sentiment analysis, and read the public, private channel and user information.
