Life Insurance industry is lagging behind in customer engagement per multiple analyst surveys due to longer time, cost and effort to migrate long-running books of business to the modern platforms that provide customer self-service. Even in case of those Life Insurers that provide customer portal, there is low adoption due to low number of products per customer and infrequent customer contact needs.
On average, about one in four consumers at this point prefer Chatbots for many insurance interactions, while about half want to talk with live humans, and the remaining one-fourth don’t mind one way or the other. A survey by SnatchBot of 6,000 consumers found that more than 80 percent of users were satisfied with a Chatbot experience.
Digital Death Claims Chatbot helps the Life Insurers to launch an RPA powered Chatbot for the usage of Claimants to inquire about the policy of the deceased Insured, add claim information, submit the claims and handle status inquiry of the claims. The package consists of workflow that integrates with Chatbots with out-of-the-box integration with kore.ai and initiates requests and response to the back-end core systems (Policy Admin and Claims) for policy inquiry, claims submission and claims status inquiry.
