Summary

This activity converts audio data from video and web conferences into text, and displays the subtitles on the screen.

Overview

It also provides a translation function, so you can display subtitles in your native language.

There are three activities included in this package:

Supported web conferencing tools

Supports all web conferencing tools, including video content such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, Cisco Webex, YouTube, etc.

To use the service, you need to register for a free IBM Cloud Lite account.

IBM Watson Cognitive Services are available with an IBM Cloud Lite Account, which is a service that allows you to use many APIs and services, including Watson, for an unlimited period of time for free, without the need for a credit card. The cognitive service we will use this time is also available for free (there is a limit to the free usage, but you will not be charged for it).

Features

This package provides voice recognition and translation by using IBM Watson SpeechToText and LanguageTranslator Service. It sends a PC speaker output to IBM Watson cognitive service, gets voice recognition results as text in real time and you have the option to choose whether to translate it or not. It also exports the file to take the minites book as option.

For those who are hearing impaired, supports web conference participation by displaying subtitles.
