This group of custom activities serves a certain purpose of controlling (increasing and decreasing) the volume of an audio output of any application or the Master System Volume. It has the capacity to return the status of Mute, set to mute and unmute Master, as well as application volume.

Basically aimed at attended automation where-in if the developer wants to attach a sound-based notification to the attended user and has to :
- Control/increase/unmute the system or application.
- Mute a different application playing sounds for the system to present its notification.
- Increase/decrease master volume.
- Increase application volume once notification is sent.
- Set volume state to previous status once notification or sound has played (as per requirement or use case).
