Form W-2, also known as the Wage and Tax Statement, is a tax document mandated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the United States. It serves the purpose of reporting employee wages and the corresponding taxes withheld from their earnings.
This model extracts up to 23 pertinent data fields from Form W-2 documents. The extracted files include vital information concerning employee wages and tax-related details. The model's flexibility allows it to serve as a foundational base for subsequent training or customization, aligning it with specific business process requirements. This adaptability ensures that it effectively caters to a range of individual business needs while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
The Document Understanding Solution Accelerators come equipped with Specialized AI models tailored to particular document types. If a business wishes to refine these models to resonate more closely with a particular document variant in their unique operational context, the models can be further trained. With the groundwork firmly in place, the implementation time can be reduced by weeks.
