Hello,
How does the Invoke Workday Operation pull it's like of available operations? I would like to use the Put_Drive_Document_Content operation, but it isn't available? I've tried to vary the version number and can see it is valid in the Workday SOAP API documentation.
Thanks,
Tim
Hi @Paul and others - Anyone has integrated via RPA WKD and Jira/Tempo?
We want when the developer enters Tempo time card, it needs to make an entry in WKD for the project (in Account field of Tempo). Thanks
Is there a recommended Web Service API Version that should be used with this package? During my initial testing of the 'Get Report' activity, I'm getting an extra line feed in every cell of the data table using the simpleXML format.
Hi Paul,
Thanks for replying. I am trying to use the method Changejob inside staffing, It has an Attribute Reason Reference which accepts variable of type Uipath.workday.staffing.change_job_subcategoryobjectType. I am facing issues in assigning values to this and similar objects. Could you elaborate on the External data part, Are you saying about Excel/xml?? I tried storing a value (ex: "CHANGE_JOB_CATEGORY-6-2") in an excel and tried retrieving it. but it takes the value as string and i am unable to use it for this attribute. Please let me know if you have a solution to achieve this through UIpath
How do we assign Values to custom datatype arguments present inside Invoke workday operation. There are object datatypes like change_job_subcategoryobject type , Headcount_OptionsobjectType etc. It does not take any values like "Job_category_4" etc since it is a string and expects in the custom datatype, In that case how do we pass input values to carry out the request. Please help!!
Hi Ahilesh,
I totally understand your pain, as the API is not always easy to work with and there are many custom objects in the Workday API.
Can I ask which method you are working with? What I have had to do in other cases is to create an external variable and use the assign or mult-assign activities to map my external data to the Workday objects. Once that is done, I can simply assign the variable in the Call Workday Operation activity.
