Is this capable of extracting non-native pdf invoices and their tables/grids?
The short answer is: No.
We have avoided invoice processing. It is a very crowded industry and it is based on language (e.g. 'Invoice date') rather than visual layout.
Can this be used to extract data from receipts?
Hi,
The software is designed to extract content from reports - financial statements, scientific papers, analysts reports... The layouts are fairly similar: text, tables and graphics - in essentially rectangular form, all fairly dense visually.
Receipts are likely to have very different visual characteristics - so will not work properly with the software as it is today.
