In a local system, such as a personal computer, the C drive serves as the primary storage location. However, there may be instances where it becomes necessary to map a network drive from a different device onto our system. 

  

This process involves creating a shortcut that enables access to shared resources within a local network, as well as files hosted on FTP servers or websites. With the help of this activity, users can seamlessly integrate and utilize the resources available on the external device within their own system.

This activity helps with mapping the network drive from one system into another system.

This component can be used to secure the existing Excel, Word ,PDF, Presentation files with password and to remove the password from existing protected Excel, Word, PDF, Presentation files.

  

**1\. Protect File Activity** \- It will protect the existing Excel, Word, PDF, Presentation files with a provided password and will save the ProtectedFile in the same file path with the same file name.

*        **InArgument**: FilePath -Existing file path.

                                    Password - the password with which the file needs to be protected.

*       **OutArgument**: Status - It will provide "Success" as an output if there is no exception and if exception occurs, it will provide the exception details as output.

  

2.**UnProtect File Activity** \- It will unprotect the existing Excel, Word, PDF, Presentation password protected files by providing the password used to protect that file and saving the unprotected file in same file path with the same file name.

*        **InArgument**: FilePath - The existing protected file path

                                    FilePassword - the password already used to protect the file.

*       **OutArgument**: Status - It will provide "Success" as an output if there is no exception and if exception occurs, it will provide the exception details as output.

This activity is used to protect and unprotect Excel, Word, PDF files

This Activity contains one input parameter and two output parameters.

*   **Input Parameter:**

        **Host or IP Address(String):** The Host or IP address needed to check.

  

*   **Output Parameters:**

      **Connection Status (String):** The Connection Status of host or IP address needed to check. If Exception occurs, then it will provide the exception details.

      **PingInfo(Dictionary):** The information returned from Ping command.

This Ping activity is useful to test the reach-ability of Host or IP address on an Internet Protocol(IP) Network.

This package help to **remove** a drive mapping towards a **network folder** or FTP site from the system by just providing the drive letter.

  

*   **Input Parameter:**

**Drive Letter(String):** The Drive Letter needed to Disconnect.

**Drive Path(String): Optional -** The Share path needed to Disconnect.

  

*   **Output Parameters:**

**UnMap Status (String):** If the Drive is Disconnected then it will provide Success as outcome; else will provide the Error Message.

This activity helps with unmapping the network drive from the system

**Input Parameter:** 

*     Input String - The String for which it is required to find all possible permutations
*     **Note:** Input string should not contain special character or blank space

  

**Output Parameter:**

*      Count  - The Count of possible permutations
*      Output List  - The List of possible permutations
*      Status - Provide Success if no Exception is encountered. Else it will provide an Exception Message

This activity is used to get all distinct possible permutations of a given string

The Solution contains three rules:

*    **Message Box Usage:** To check the Message box activity is used and it is recommended to remove that before publishing into production.
*    **Inout Argument Direction Used:** To notify the workflow which uses INOUT argument type.
*    **Global Handler Flow Not Used:** To check the  Global Handler activity can be used or not. It is recommended to use it to avoid the unexpected Exception in production.

**Input Parameter:** No Input parameter is required

  

**Output Parameter:** 

*   Count: The count of deleted temporary files
*   Status: If the count is greater than Zero then the status will be "Success", otherwise "Failed". If any exception occured then an exception Message will be provided.

 **Note:** If the File cannot be deleted due to some reason like it is used by some other process or opened by another user, then it will skip the file.

To delete all the system temporary files in the path C:\\Users\\User Name\\App Data\\Local\\Temp to increase the system performance and speed
