This simple template can be used as a starting point for automating attended processes.

The main advantages of using this template are the following:

*   Modularization: Separation into three main steps (initialization, processing and cleanup)
*   Finer exception handling: Differentiation between Application Exceptions and Business Rule Exceptions, including specific handling for each of them
*   Configuration file: Higher flexibility and ease of maintenance by providing user-friendly definition of settings
*   Compatibility with dashboards created for the ReFramework

How to use it:

*   Edit the Config file found in Data folder. Add the required configuration settings in the Settings tab, Constants tab and, if working with Orchestrator Assets, use the Assets tab to define the list of assets that will be automatically taken when the process is executed. Make sure to use different names for assets, constants and settings as all types of configuration values are stored in the same dictionary. Values are stored in the config dictionary as [GenericValue](https://studio.uipath.com/docs/genericvalue-variables).
*   Implement the process using a modular approach; create separate workflow files for each component or part of your process. Then, invoke all the process components in the Process.xaml workflow file, in the correct module. If there are many decisions, a flowchart should be used for the Process.xaml workflow file. For example, the activities that will open and prepare the target application for the process execution should be put in a separate workflow file, TargeApplicationName\_Init.xaml. This workflow should be invoked in the Process.xaml, in the Initialization sequence.
