Hi Robert,
Thanks a lot for this package, I am trying to load PDf dynamically for user review in Alpaca forms, can you guide me how it can be achieved?
Thanks and Regards
Yogi Garg
I would write the PDF to the filesystem then create a form with a link to it. Does that sound like it would meet the need? Thank you
Can we implement Alpaca Form Builder in custom/native code activity? If yes, please help us how.
Hi Ritika: Can you help me understand what you mean by this? This was built as a UiPath library -- completely using Studio as XAML files then built into a re-usable component. The "source" for this is available here: https://github.com/robertba/AlpacaUiPathFormBuilder.
(If this answers your question...) It would absolutely be possible to build this as a custom activity using c# as of the type here: https://docs.uipath.com/activities/docs/creating-a-custom-activity .
Most of the heavy lifting with this component is doing JSON manipulation-- something that would translate from the activities in the library source code to C# or VB.Net. Thanks-- let me know if this doesn't help.
Please fix the link to the referenced documentation
Will do Phillip. For now, if you go here: https://connect.uipath.com/community/project/alpaca-uipath-form-builder you'll find a link to github where this project lives. Here you can find the latest docs, a template project with a bunch of samples (referenced in the videos), etc. Happy building and feel free to reach out if there are more questions.
