Is there a way to set "noreset" to true in the Appium Driver settings? It seems to assume by default that you want to reset the app.

Is it possible to add verification points after recording the actions? Itried using the Verfiy control attribute and it does not seem to work if I point it at the mobile device manager.
Hi Glenn! Could you clarify what you mean by "verification points"? Do you mean checking to see if an element is there or not? If so, you can use the "Find element" activity and use it to check if an element is there or not.
Helo Sir,
Need help.
1. Please let us know how to find the element for Toast messages for Android app.
Tries with video recording, but not possible to caputer those
2. Also please let us know how to automate the Remote desktop which we connected from the mobile device. We see in for desktop we can use Computer vision concept to caputure the remote desktop elements but when I connect my device to remote dekstop it is not possible to caputure the elements.
Please clear my doubts.
is that possible with paid version. Am using Community version currenlty.
Hello Gopal!
1. If you have Appium v1.6.4 or above, you should be able to use the following XPath: "//android.widget.Toast[1]"
If you don't, and can't update Appium, then unfortunately it's a framework limitation and you may have to take a screenshot and use OCR to detect the toast message.
2. This may be difficult as the scope activity generates an Appium server locally, and thus will only work if that local server can detect a device (meaning it would be difficult/impossible to connect a device from a Remote Desktop). Perhaps the official Mobile Automation package that comes with Studio Pro can be of use: https://docs.uipath.com/activities/docs/mobile-automation
This package only has a Community version. Hope I've clearerd up your questions!
Hey,
Will it be possible to export the resultant automation as apk android app and it run directly on android phone? (without keeping it connected to PC)?
Hey Shiv! Unfortunately there's no way to export the automation as the components are only for UiPath.
Interesting Integrate appium on Custom Activity
Is possible connect Android Virtual Device?
If that's possible, i think very useful function
Yes you can definitely use the activities with an Android Virtual Device!
