The process sends new mails or follow-up mails to a list of users from the locally configured Outlook. It allows sending a maximum of three follow-up mails. In case of a follow-up mail, the new mail is sent on top of the last sent mail to the user. When a response is received, the status is updated and sending follow-ups is ignored.
The process sends the follow-up emails in a pre-configured time span. The content is formatted and the same is preserved throughout the follow-ups sent. Description for each configuration is detailed in the description column of the ‘eMailListConfig.xlsx’ file.
Provide configuration details available in Configuration\eMailListConfig.xlsx.
Provide relevant details in 'From_Details' worksheet.
Provide relevant details in 'To_Details' worksheet. DO NOT enter anything in ‘Mail_Sent_Status’ column.
Emails will be received by the IDs mentioned in To List. And in emails mentioned in From List, 'Sent Items' will show emails sent.
Content specified in the email is parameterized and takes the Name, Role and Company mentioned in the Configuration file – ‘To_Details’ sheet.
In case of time out, increase the value ‘TimeOutToCheckMails’ in the configuration file.
