Is it possible to convert larger files to PDF?
Image To PDF Converter: The page size must be smaller than 14400 by 14400. It's 16384 by 1676.
Hi Selim,
You can first reduce the size of the image then convert. You can use the following activity https://marketplace.uipath.com/listings/image-compression-ad9d83 .
Hi Thanks for this asset! How to achieve this with multiple PDFs? Would be nice to have.
I've been trying but didn't get your reply on it.
Hi Max den Hoed,
Currently, there is no direct option to create a multi-page PDF using this activity, But you can achieve this by converting each image into single pdf files and join them together using Join PDF Files activity https://docs.uipath.com/activities/docs/join-pdf-files.
This isn't a question—it's a reply to Richard's comment about multi-page TIFFs—but I don't see a reply button. (Maybe only Anoop can reply?)
Anyway, here are a couple workarounds for multi-page TIFF conversion:
* Use this TIFF to JPG activity: https://connect.uipath.com/marketplace/components/tiff-to-jpg-converter
* Alternatively, use Invoke Code to invoke Microsoft's sample TIFF-to-JPG conversion code: https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsdesktop/CSTiffImageConverter-92ac2358/sourcecode?fileId=25010&pathId=199825375
After conversion, you can convert the JPGs to a PDF through Anoop's activity. Hope this helps someone....
It convert image to image pdf. Any possibilty that image is converted into a PDF/A? document
It only converts into PDF format
Are there step by step directions on how to use this??
Please fill the two input parameters
Image Path (eg: C:/NewFolder/test.img)
PDF Path (eg: C:/NewFolder/converted.pdf)
This two parameters are enough to convert
Hello
Your activity so awesome.
However How can I control size of PDF after convert image?
We are facing problem small image convert to huge size PDF.
Hi Anoop,
This is just perfect for one of my devs. If I can suggest anything, it would be to integrate the option to print all pages of a document into 1 single PDF. Like *.TIF files can have multiple pages, but currently only the first one is printed into PDF. If this would be added to one of the next releases, I would be over to the moon.
Thanks!
Hi Richard,
I will consider the same in the next release.
Thanks
Anoop
Hey,
This is a good start!
But in my I have to select multiple images or let's say all the images from specific location.
is there any option ?
Hi Prashant,
Currently the activity will convert a single image. You can achieve this in an alternative way by exporting each image into PDF after you can merge them all by using ' Join PDF Files activity' comes with UiPath.PDF.Activities.
I will consider your suggestion in the upcoming update.
Thank you
