Mail Message Converter

- Hi , I am trying to convert Mailmessage to .MSG format. But even after supplying all the values , its throwing an error every time. Mail message to MSG converter: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Often needed - Yeah, de default activity saves the mail in a fomat, but we need it in the other. So this is a very have to component.

Doesn't save categories - It's a good attempt, kudos! But the main reason I'm downloading it is to save the assigned "categories" of each Email to local drive. As the default uipath activity doesn't save "categories" if file type is .eml. This customized activity doesn't offer more than the default option.

Mail message to message converter - I tried with multiple options to convert the mail message to message, but I am unable to do it. This nuget package really helped to solve my issue. Thank you so !!much

Perform more tests - The idea of this activity is very good, as I have seen multiple users requesting to save the emails with this extension. However, the package should be reviewed. First I wasn't able to open the e-mail with .msg format, as I received the error "We can't open 'path'. It's possible the file is already open, or you don't have permission to open it. To check your permissions, right-click the file folder, then click Properties". I checked my rights, everything fine, I was able to open the email in .eml format, but not with this one. After multiple steps of troubleshooting, I can't remember all the steps as it took a while to figure it out, I was able to open the saved email with .msg extension, however I was not able to see the body of the email. I forwarded the saved email and I was able to access all the information after this process. My suggestion is that the activity might be improved and tested on different machines.
