What it is?Read email and download attachments is one of the most common functionality that we come across in almost every RPA implementation.Email with a specific subject is set as a trigger point to start the process execution. BOT reads only those emails from Outlook Inbox whose subject matches with the search criteria mentioned in config file.BOT reads one email at a time and mark the status as read. It does not change the status of the other emails present in Outlook Inbox.If an email has one or more attachment, it creates the folder Data\Input inside project repository and save the attachment(s) in itSuccessfully tested the execution for different customers. It works very well without any change in code. It can be run standalone or can be integrated with any project.

 - The idea of the component is good and it could be used in many situations.
Unfortunately the way it was implemented makes it a bit difficult to use:
The Config.xlsx file needs to be moved to the Data folder, but if the REFramework is used, then there's already a Config.xlsx file in the same folder, so users need to merge both configuration files before executing.
There are unused variables in the workflow, and the TryCatch is not really doing anything, except throwing the same exception it catches. These unnecessary parts make the component hard to understand.

Some suggestions:
Since there are just a few configuration parameters, it might be easier to implement them as input arguments for the workflow, instead of using a configuration file. 
Use the "Remove Unused Variables" button to delete unnecessary variables. If no other action is being taken inside the Catch block, then the TryCatch activity can also be removed.

If those points are addressed, this can be a great component!


After noticing that this is a Snippet intended to work with REF and that the Config basically has the same structure you can replace the default REF one with this (you shouldn't have 2 configs), the component worked as expected.
I would like to see the Description and documentation making this thing more clear, so that everyone can easily use this. Furthermore, I think that the error handling should be improved in the next version. Thank you!

 - It was nice to see that the solution works using REFramework. I was expecting more from the actual method for improving the quality of the scanned document. I hope that for future solutions we can see more alternatives for improving the quality. Since REFramework is already used, the Config file could offer different options that the user can choose, depending on which method would fit better for his use-case.
