Nowadays it is really important for software to be ready for multi-languages user. This custom package contains four activities, which are really helpful in formatting i.e for formatting user input/any string or detecting if provided string contains diacritics or accents.

For example diacritics are: "á, â, ü, ñ, ç, ø, ß"

But from the same group accents are only: "á, â, ü, ñ, ç"

The activities from this package will help you to easily check if the provided string contains diacritics or accents and also easily convert them to non-diacritics letters. For example you have in the system a user: **Renée Noël** and you have to convert it to e-mail. In the system this user exists as Renee Noel, so using the below listed activities you can easily check if this name contains diacritics/accents and if so convert this name to non-diacritics/accents one. And later create your e-mail address: renee.noel@domain.com.

**Support for languages: Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Polish, Livonian, Latvian, Russian, Slovakian, Spanish. And all other which share the same diacritics/accents.**

Detailed activities description:

*   **Convert diacritics in provided string to non-diacritic string.**

For input string: "á, â, ü, ñ, ç, ø, ß"

Output is: "a, a, u, n, c, o, ss"

*   **Return false/true if provided string not/contains diacritics.**

For input string: "á, â, ü, ñ, ç, ø, ß"

Output is: TRUE

but for input string: "a, c, b, x, ss, g, h"

output is: FALSE

*   **Convert accented characters to non-accented.**

For input string: "á, â, ü, ñ, ç, ø, ß"

Output is: "a, a, u, n, c, ø, ß"

As you can see only accented letters have been converted to non-accented ones. Other diacritics left untouched.

*   **Return false/true if provided string not/contains accented letters.**

For input string: "á, â, ü, ñ, ç, ø, ß"

Output is: TRUE,

but for input string: "a, b, u, n, c, ø, ß"

output is: FALSE, because "ø, ß" are diacritics, but not accented-letters.

Convert string (normalize) with diacritics or accents to non-diacritics or non-accented strings. It can indicate if the provided string contains diacritics or accents

At this moment this is the only fully working set of activities based on EWS for UiPath:

*   handles up to 500 folders (500 is max for Exchange server).
*   reads as many messages from server as you want (there is no limit to 1000 messages!), also from Sharedmailbox.
*   saves all file attachments, filtering by extension if needed, and removing forbidden chars from file names, so file is saved instead of throwing exception (i.e. a lot of invoicing systems use forbidden characters for invoices files names).

It contains the following activities:

*   **Convert String To SecureString** **\-** it is not recommended to store your password as string, but if you have to, this activity will convert it to SecureString.
*   **Create Exchange Connection -** allows you to create a connection to Exchange Server which can be used later with other activities. You can connect using Autodiscover or providing domain and server address.
*   **Get Exchange Messages -** retrieves messages from server and returns as List. Can pull as many messages as you want (not limited to 1000), handles also SharedMailBox.
*   **Move Message -** move e-mail message from current location to provided mailfolder.
*   **Save Attachments -**  save all attachments from provided . Attachments can be filtered by extensions, optionally, files can be renamed if a file with the same name exists or can be always renamed. If the original names should be kept, the forbidden chars will be removed from the name if there are some.
*   **Retrieve Attachment -** retrieve attachments from messages (.eml or .msg) saved on drive and saves them in a provided location. Additional filtering/renaming options like above are available.

MIT licensed package containing several activities to manage mailbox using Microsoft Exchange Web Services (EWS).

Text Analysis (or Text Mining) is the automated process of obtaining information from text. The goal is to create structured data out of free text content, as this can be easier interpreted by a computer.

It can be used for categorizing press articles, user reviews, incoming e-mails, tickets, monitoring comments or social media and many more.

The first release contains several basic, but powerful methods and techniques:

*   **Detect Language**: allows text to be classified according to its language. Supports 16 languages. It is helpful for setting the OCR engine or allowing you to route e-mails or document to specific people, depending on the detected language.
*   **Find Collocations**: identify words that commonly co-occur. Returns bigrams, most commonly two adjacent words i.e. invoice date for invoice documents.
*   **Prepare String to Analyze**: basic activity for text analyzing. Prepares provided string lowercasing it, removing special characters, numbers, single letters. The returned text contains only words separated by spaces.
*   **Remove Stopwords**: provides a more accurate automated analysis of the text. Supports 16 languages. It is important to remove from play all the words that are very frequent but provide little semantic information or no meaning at all. These words are also known as stopwords.
*   **Word Frequency Analyze**: finds the most frequently used words in a document. This is useful to identify document type by comparing results with a defined pattern.
*   **Word Position Analyze**: helps identify the type of a document by analyzing the position of specific words. Invoice keyword position at the top of the document, in the header, increases the possibility of this being an invoice, then if the keyword is mentioned somewhere on the 5th page of the document.

1\. **VAT Format Validator -** offline activity. Every country has well-known VAT number format/syntax. This activity uses these rules to check if the provided VAT number format is correct. It tells only if the format is correct, not if such VAT exists in the real world!

2\. **VIES VAT Checker -** online activity so connection with internet is needed. This activity uses European Commission VAT validator (VIES - [https://ec.europa.eu/taxation\_customs/vies/](https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/)) to validate if such VAT number is registered. Works only for EU countries (no longer works for GB!).
