This activity integrates the Textlocal experience with UiPath capabilities to help you automate communication through SMS messages.

You will be enabled to send single or bulk SMS messages using Robots.

The gateway used for sending the SMS messages is Textlocal, a very popular marketing and alert platform used in India which provides a 99.99% delivery success rate.

This will work only in the countries that support TextLocal.

Send SMS messages to any mobile number using UiPath Robots

There are times when email notifications are not available this is why we created the Send SMS via KAP Systems SMS Gateway custom activity. By using it you can send local and international SMS messages as long as the KAP System Service is available in that location.

This activity is very easy to integrate with the UiPath Platform. You just need to:

1.  Access https://kapsystem.com/
2.  Get the required credentials and the ID for SMS sending.
3.  Open UiPath Studio.
4.  Access Manage Packages.
5.  Search and Install this component.
6.  Use the Activity from the Activities Panel.

Note: As per TRAI Regulations, if the recipient number is DND enabled, Promotional Messages can be delivered from 09:00 to 21:00 only.

Send local and international SMS messages to any mobile number using UiPath robots.

Using the Kill User Specific Process custom activity you can easily kill the applications running for a specific user account. This activity is very useful when using High-Density robots.

In High-Density robot architecture a single machine will run multiple instances of robots. In this case, the default Kill Process activity will kill the process for all the machine's active users that are currently running that process.

Things to note:

Make sure that the Process name is the same as shown in the windows task manager. You can find your application process name by checking the "Details" tab on the Windows Task Manager.

*   There is no need to add the file type (.exe) to the process name.
*   If there are no usernames specified, the target application will be killed for all user instances.
*   If a username is specified, it must be the same as the one displayed in the Windows Users list.

To check the Users list, type on your keyboard the Windows + R keys.

When the Run window is displayed type "CMD" and access the command prompt window.

Type "NET USERS" and the available users will be listed.

Screen resolution plays a major role in image automation. The target production machine must have the same resolution  like the development machine to identify the images properly. Usually developers will add it as a pre-requisite or check the resolution and stop if it's not as expected.

With the help of this activity, we can check the current resolution and change it with the required resolution without any manual intervention.
